More than 20 Ambassadors attended the meeting, which started with the opening speeches of Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) Chairman Gürsel Baran, Republic of Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Turkey Reşad Memmedov, OAIB Coordinator President Nihat Uysallı and Ministry of Industry and Technology General Directorate of Industrial Zones Department Head Haşim Cihan Demirköprülü. and attended the meeting.
BARAN: “Trade and investments between the friendly and brotherly country Turkey and Azerbaijan need to be further developed”
MEMMEDOV: “With ALAT Free Economic Zone, Azerbaijan’s non-oil economies will develop”
After the opening speeches, ALAT Free Economic Zone President Valeh Alesgerov made a presentation about the zone promotion. Stating that the ALAT Free Economic Zone, which was established as the trade and logistics center of the Alat residential area in Baku, on the shores of the Caspian Sea, has a total area of 858 hectares, Alesgerov pointed out their desire to attract industrial investments containing advanced technology to the Alat Free Economic Zone.
At the meeting attended by ATO members, KOÇ Holding Ankara Representative Ufuk Çıplak, ATO Assembly President Mustafa Deryal, ATO Vice Presidents Temel Aktay and Halil İbrahim Yılmaz, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly Ali İhsan Özdemir, ATO Board Members Ahmet Akça, Naki Demir and Yasin Özyolu were very very happy. Many ATO Council Members were also present.
