Technical Seminar 2026, jointly organized by Jotun and ZETAŞ YAPI, was successfully held at Radisson Hotel Baku, bringing together professionals from the EPC, Oil & Gas, engineering, construction, manufacturing, and HSE sectors. Throughout the day, participants explored the latest technologies, international standards, and practical engineering solutions in the fields of protective coatings and passive fire protection.
The seminar was officially opened by Ramil Zeynalsoy, Co-FounderBusiness Development Executive at ZETAŞ, who welcomed the participants, introduced the seminar agenda, and presented the speakers before moderating the event throughout the day.
The first technical sessions were delivered by Ufuk Erkmen, Export Sales Manager – Marine & Protective at Jotun, who shared his international expertise on Passive Fire Protection Systems (SteelMaster) and Corrosion Protection Solutions, highlighting global standards, industry best practices, and practical applications for industrial projects.
Following this, Çağlar Yurttaş, Co-Founder & Construction Engineer at ZETAŞ Yapı, presented on Implementation and Quality Control (QA/QC) of Passive Fire Protection Systems, sharing practical engineering experience and quality assurance approaches for passive fire protection applications.
After the networking break, Abhishek Singh, Regional Fire Engineering Specialist for Europe & Central Asia at Jotun, delivered a technical presentation in English on Hydrocarbon Fire Protection Solutions, providing valuable insights into advanced fire engineering practices, international standards, and modern protection technologies used across complex industrial facilities.
The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, allowing participants to exchange ideas directly with the speakers, followed by the official closing ceremony and a commemorative group photo. Earlier in the day, attendees also took part in a networking break and a group photoshoot, creating valuable opportunities for professional interaction and knowledge sharing.
At the conclusion of the seminar, Certificates of Participation were presented to all attendees in recognition of their participation and commitment to continuous professional development.
